		<description>Firstly, thank you for this enlightening article.  I fail to understand the reasoning behind building wind farms in the UK, when energy output from them is negligible (and that&#039;s only when the wind is blowing).  Even if wind farms were built over every available inch in the UK, they wouldn&#039;t even come close to producing enough energy to meet our country&#039;s requirements.  Obviously the only benefactors are the Government for meeting so called &quot;targets&quot; for green energy and the energy suppliers who are no doubt set to receive huge pay-outs in providing same.  I am certain that if more of the population were wise to the actual facts and figures, wind farms would have no backing from the public.  On a personal note, I was shocked to learn that my own energy supplier, Scottish Power, is behind the Harvington wind farm plans.  I am now changing my supplier and prompt everyone else to do the same.</description>
