Walk off the Christmas Pud! – Join the VVASP Family Walk; Saturday 3rd January

By stoplenchwickwindfarm | December 7, 2008

Many of you asked at the recent drop-in sessions “How can I help” – in practice there are lots of ways, we need specialist researchers, we need people to spread the word, and sometimes we just need people to help out, in this case we need some funds to be able to maintain the campaign.

So we’ve organised a Wychavon Way Family Walk, an opportunity for you to work off those Christmas calories, to enjoy our wonderful countryside, to chat with others about the effects of the project and to see for yourself the beautiful area that will be devastated if the Spanish owned firm Scottish Power Renewables get their way.

Below is a link to to a map showing the area possibly affected by Scottish Power Renewables, highlighted with The Wychavon Way.

Our Start Point is Church Lench Village Hall, (Map Ref: SP 024 513 ) at 10:00 am Saturday 3rd January 2008

We have arranged a number of walks of different lengths, ranging from 1 to 5 miles, with a suitable refreshment stop.

Register for the walk by filling in this form, or just turn up on the day – you’ll be more than welcome – by registering you give us an idea of how many we need to cater for!

There will be warming refreshments along the way for which we will be asking a small donation.

Fill the information in below and then Click on
“I’m ready to Walk the Walk!”
and we’ll email you a copy of the map

Or you can download a copy of the map from here: Download Map Area_Map_LenchwickWindFarm_A4
If you have decided that you would like to treat this as a ‘Sponsored’ walk, then we would be more than pleased for the donations, there is NO obligation for anyone to do so – we would just like your company! Click here to Download Sponsorship Form SponsorForm_Thumb
