CALL TO ACTION
It’s Time to Write and Object to The Planning Application for the Wind Monitoring Masts
WE NEED AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE TO OBJECT TO THE PLANNING APPLICATIONS FOR THESE WIND MASTS. IF YOU WANT TO HELP PROTECT YOUR VILLAGE PLEASE READ ON.
With the submission of Planning Applications for TWO 70m / 230ft Wind Monitoring Masts you have an opportunity to formally write to the council and ‘Object’
To have the most impact, you should write TWO letters – one for each mast (they can be very similar, just change the reference)
NOTE: TWO letters should be sent from each household member (one for each application).
Below is an example of what you can say in a letter, please write your own using as much or as little as you like, and also make if relevant to yourself.

Dear Madam
Formal Objection to Planning Application W/08/03234/PN for a wind monitoring mast near Lower Barn, Sheriff’s Lench
OR
Formal Objection to Planning Application W/08/03235/PN for a wind monitoring mast near Evesham Road, Norton
Say why this is relevant to you – walking, cycling, peace and quiet…
You can object to it because it is an urban structure in the open countryside and as such would have a damaging impact on the landscape and community.
You could add that this application has left people frightened and concerned that you seek an assurance than if in the event it is given consent this would not prejudice in any way. responses to a further application for wind turbines.
If given consent you can ask for it be located away from residences.
If it is given consent you would expect it to be for a limited period only when it would be removed entirely from the site.
You can also ask that its correct height be on the public record so that people can use it to compare and judge the height of any further structures applied for. .
Ask for the results of the wind monitoring to be made available to the public.
Yours sincerely
